Miss Charlotte Platts is in her second year at the school and is the teacher of class 2. Class 2 comprises of children in Year 1 and children in Year 2.

Miss Platts is the leading teacher for PE and Games and has a responsibility towards the global partnership with our school in Malawi. She coordinates key stage 1 assessment. In line with the school's aim, she has completed tha National Drama for Learning and Creativity programme. Miss Platts also runs an after school netball club.

Her classroom assistant is Ms Marion Clarke who has been at the school for more than 14 years. She has successfully completed the Specialist Teacher Assistant course. Ms Clarke is skilled in supporting children in their reading and actively promotes reading via the sale of book stamps. She has a shared responsibility to purchase reading books for our library. Ms Clarke is also one of our trained members for the Heartstart Campaign and she hold a Fist Aid Certificate including paediatric training.
